Bloody Perks is a graphic novel. It was originally developed as a feature film, because working as a storyboard artist for movies, and reading a bunch of great scripts, made me want to write my own movie. Later I developed the story of that screenplay into a tv series – while I was working on tv shows like “AMC’s Preacher” – because I enjoyed working on tv shows so much that I wanted to have that experience every day. By then, the world of “Bloody Perks” had been in development for about 4 years, and I’d never seriously thought about making it into a graphic novel, because I’d never find time to work on that! But life seems to have a way of finding time for you when it feels you are extremely passionate about something, in a positive or negative way, consciously or subconsciously. When life realizes that you have found a reason for creating whatever it is you are creating in your life, good or bad…
